Where can I request songs?
The icon at the top will direct you to my curious cat where you can request songs. I might not answer the request as to not clog my tweets, but I always see the requests and will get them done as soon as I can. Please be patient though, as the queue of requests can get quite long.Note: PLEASE do not repost these videos. Most often songs will already have official instrumentals, whether on the CD version, on their channels or some other platform. If they don’t, I mostly take instrumentals from content they post. Most groups have the instrumentals to their songs at the end of variety videos or in their premieres/showcases. So I'd combine those with a video edit software I have which isolates the vocals from the instrumentals. It’s not always perfect, as isolating vocals often leaves behind this weird static sound, but it is the best that I can do.Why are some videos cut and edited from the original MV?
If the video is edited, it’s most likely because there was a pause in the original music video which would be quite awkward since I take instrumentals from the official audio not from the mv. So I cut it up and edit it to fit the instrumental.Why is it in black and white?
Just to distinguish the videos from other mvs posted on twitter, so you know which is the instrumental version and which is the version with both music and vocals. Also it looks nice.Why do I hear whispering in some of the instrumentals?
I can’t always perfect the vocal isolation from the audio, as usually the backing/hidden vocals will show or the vocal isolation will think a falsetto or deeper vocal was apart of the music. I try not to let this happen, and if it does, it’s because there was no other way to fix it and had to be kept in.Is there any groups that are off limits?
No, but if I feel uncomfortable with a request, I will just not do it. For the most part, most artists are allowed to be suggested.Why do you post performances with some of the audios?
I like videos to still be interesting to watch even with the instrumentals, so if there are performances with the song being used by the artist, I will try to use those instead of a still image. If you would prefer it be a still image, you can request and I will make a separate post for it.How long does each post take you?
At minimum an hour, sometimes a couple. It’s not a boring task, there are just a lot of steps.I don't like the cut you chose, and would rather a specific part of the song be requested. Can I do that?
You can request which part you would like to be cut and I will make a separate post for it. Though usually I try keep the first chorus to the end.Can you post these on spotify or the full version on youtube?
I'm not sure how to post instrumentals on spotify but if I knew how to, I would. As for youtube, that's a possibility. I would have to redo most of the instrumentals since I delete the videos to not take up storage after posting them, so that would be a project for later. Will consider tho!
